Many interesting books on arms and armour, as well as on other military or history related subjects, were published in Polish language what can be a quite hard barrier to force for people from the outside of Poland.

Thank to the newest technologies, like google translator, we can now at least it allows to get the meaning of the text!

- translation, thought seems to be logic, is very simple, using mostly the first meaning of the word, so it won't be accurate in many cases;

- it won't work with antique weapons vocabulary, so you better get a specialized dictionary like that one (link) ; so words like "jelec" (hilt), g?ownia (blade) and many others won't be translate, or will be translate incorrect;

- remember Polish language have special alphabet characters like "?", "?", "?", "?", "?", "ó", "?" - you can skip them, but sometimes it will confuse translator and it will give you incorrect result!

- it is limited to around 160 words. If translation doesn't work, paste less number of text into it!

- there is no better way like to learn Polish and translate everything by yourself! :)
